Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Social Engagement Tag application (“SET”), operated by Cuptoopia. By creating an account you agree to these Terms.

1. What SET is

SET is a membership platform for meeting other members in person. Members pay a monthly fee and earn a “Tag” when within a short distance of another member for a few seconds. A daily cash Reward may be paid to selected members and is funded by member participation. SET is not a lottery, raffle, sweepstakes, or gambling product; the Reward is never promoted, guaranteed, or announced in advance, and nothing is promised in exchange for the membership fee beyond access to the membership and its activities.

2. Eligibility

You must be 16 years or older to use SET and provide accurate registration details.

3. Membership & payments

• Membership is a recurring subscription billed monthly through our payment provider, Stripe.
• Your membership auto-renews until you cancel. You can cancel anytime in the app; access continues until the end of your current period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
• You are responsible for the payout method and details you provide for receiving Rewards.

4. The daily Reward

Any Reward depends entirely on member participation and the operator’s proprietary selection process. Rewards are not guaranteed, are never promoted or announced ahead of time, and are paid at the operator’s discretion in accordance with the program rules. Public displays of Rewards show a general location and an amount only — never a member’s identity.

5. Special Events

Members and event creators may create or join ticketed Special Events. For a Special Event the prize is funded by ticket sales, is dynamic, and may be shown openly. To be eligible to win a share you must buy a ticket, be present at the event, and earn the required number of Tags during the event window. If an event is cancelled at least 24 hours before it starts, ticket buyers receive a 50% refund; otherwise no refund is due. If no one qualifies, funds are retained by the operator.

6. Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to game, automate, spoof location, or otherwise manipulate tagging or the Reward process.
• Do not use SET for any unlawful purpose or to harass other members.
• Keep your account credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account.

7. Your content & sharing

When you share an event, a Tag, or your own reward, you may share a message that includes the SET logo and a link. You may only share your own information; never another member’s identity.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time (see the Account & Data Deletion page). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

9. Disclaimers & liability

SET is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cuptoopia is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Taxes

You are responsible for any taxes on Rewards you receive. SET does not withhold taxes and provides informational summaries only, not tax advice.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date.
